The Effect of Modified Technique of the Nesselrod Operation for Circumferential Prolapsing Hemorroid


Abstract
This report is to statistically analyze clinical result of 104 cases with circumferential prolapsing hemorroid who have admitted and treated by the modified the modified technique of the Nesselrod operation at Eul Ji General Hospital in Seoul.
@ES The results are as follows:
@EN 1) The age of frequent incidence was from twenties to forties.
The sex ratio of male to female was about 1 : 1(53 : 47)
2) To compare with the past treatment experience of patients who had circumferential prolapsing hemorroid and the whole hemorroid, the former was 10~13% highly showed than latter.
3) More than 5-years-history patients were 68.3% and even more than ten-years-history were 34.6%.
4) The chief complaints can be summerized anal prolapse, anal bleeding and anal pain.
Patients who had with more than two complaints were 44%.
5) perfomance of all procedure of operation could be within one hour in 84.6%.
6) On the fourth day after operation there was spontaneous defication in 91.3% and all patients did that before discharge.
7) due to bleeding, the second operation was done right after the initial operation in 1 cases, but the other immediate postoperative complications were resolved by conservative management within 5days after the initial operation.
8) 91.3% of all patients were satisfied and they replied they were going to recommend others this technique.
